First Person Words

King Me

I will, on rare occasions, hear words spoken to me first thing upon awakening.  When I do, I rarely take the time to write or record them which is foolish because the times that I have written or recorded them, the insight into something I’ve been pondering is usually profound. There is a note to myself at the end of this post about this very thing.  I’m not going to explain the meaning of the rest of the note to myself as it references religious labels that I am no longer using.

King me, one, I do.

[This word seemed strange to me and I even doubted the word until I listened to WW19 Session 10--very near the end, during communion:  (Ted speaking)  “You said Father you are bringing forth, your desire, a kingdom of priests.  King and priest.  A holy nation of kings and priests.  So Father help us to begin and not just to begin but to grow in the understanding of the kingship and the priesthood which you reveal and give to us now, even now as we take this bread and cup.  In your name, Father.”  It did confirm for me that I need to write the words immediately when I hear them.  I believe it stops the flow when I’m not obedient to write the words immediately and I often forget the exact wording, which, I know, is not good.]

Set My Captives Free

This was one of the first times I wrote down the first person words I’d received — not the first time I heard first person words, but the first time I wrote them to remember them.
